I cannot say anything about ISAPI, but I can tell you that I have had success generating back/stacktraces in the past with Mutek Bug Trapper (www.mutek.com) with Apachemod
Apache does not need to be compiled in "Debug" mode, PHP was sufficient to do. Then you "Attach" to a "Apache" process marking the loaded "php4ts_debug.dll" and it automatically traps everything on execution then.
It should work similar with ISAPI?
