Thanks for the reminder about resolv.lib Daniel- it's so long since I stuck that in my VC libs directory that I'd forgotten it was to do with php. I've just rebuilt the whole caboodle, linking against what is now a debug version of resolv.lib. The bad news is that IIS still hangs when I try to access a php page. I'll reboot my machine now, run the debugger and report back on exactly where it's hanging, and anything else I can find out. Cheers PS Daniel's idea of sticking bindlib in the win32 directory is a good one.
