Hi Eric,
I would suggest waiting about 1 month or so for PHP streams to get finished
and then you can write you code in a kind of ANSI stdio style.
If you can't wait that long you'll have to write some messy code;
you need to use php_fopen_wrapper and those SOCK_READ and SOCK_WRITE macros.
Take a look at some of the extensions that do this (grep for SOCK_READ and
fopen_wrapper).
