It's a PII/350 (Deschutes), which had 128 MB of RAM (now 192MB). (Oh,
and it's running Red Hat, with Linux 2.2.10, glic-2.1.1.)
The problem was that the Apache MaxClients was set too high (150) and
the machine was swapping itself to death. That number was lowered (to
80, and creeping up from there), and the load dropped down to
something manageable.
I'm not sure what kind of traffic the box has been seeing. We'll see
when the next web stats run goes, I guess.
