<?php
$fp = fopen("http://www.slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf",'r');
?>
In 4.2.3 this works as expected. It redirects to
http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf (note the
'www.' is gone).
In 4.3.0pr1 this results in:
Warning: fopen(http://www.slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf) [function.fopen]:
failed to create stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 301 Moved
Permanently in /home/www/htdocs/test/fopen/slash.php on line 2
