internal function naming

What's the standard for naming functions that are not callable directly from
PHP scripts? phpi_?
Reason I'm asking is because dl.c has php3_dl() which is such a function and
the one called from the scripts is just 'dl'. I'd like to put PHP_FUNCTION()
around it but that means I need to rename existing php3_dl to something else.
