There is currently no such standard, at least not one that is being
followed consistently. We should define one, but I think that the "php_"
prefix should not be eaten up by the user-callable functions, since they
are mostly named by macros anyway, they can have another prefix, such as
phpfunc_. All the functions that in php3 were called _php3*, _php*,
php3i_* or sometimes even php3* should IMHO all be renamed to php_*. No
fuss.
