Except the version that's in PECL right now doesn't work with 7.0+. Though I just pulled down https://github.com/mote0230/dbase-pecl-php7 and will report back on whether it works properly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2016-07-07 23:31:26] cmb@php.net > So either dbase functionality no longer exists in the runtime […] Actually, dbase has been moved to PECL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2016-07-07 23:01:50] iansltx at gmail dot com Description: ------------ It's stated in the manual that PHP 7 supports dbase, provided you add the --enable-dbase flag to compile-time config. That flag doesn't work. So either dbase functionality no longer exists in the runtime or it's behind a different flag. Either way, the docs lie :( --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/dbase.setup --- Expected result: ---------------- --enable-dbase allows PHP to support dbase-related functions Actual result: -------------- configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-dbase ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=72560&edit=1
