Digital : (anglais) Numérique. (voir ce mot). Le mot anglais, formé à
partir de "digit", doit être obligatoirement remplacé par le terme
"numérique" en français (commission de terminologie - Loi du 31-12-75).

"digit" does not translate to "digital", but to "numérique".
"digital" in french, is the adjective related to the finger.
