BTW why jade is still favored in the howto, as everybody says openjade
is better, and/or many guys use openjade?
It's more the reason of availability afaik. Most modern linux distributions offer openjade as easy to install package, so most people on linux are using openjade. The other way round, jade is supported by the build system on windows, openjade not. Openjade is available for win32 but I can't see a reason to support openjade on win32 as long as nobody could proof for better performance/quality.....
Uhm, what disappointed me after downloading Jade was that the PRMs were last modified in 1999, and the source from jclarck.com was last modified in late 1998. That said, openjade's latest source code was from late 2002. While the DSSSL standard does not change anymore, I assume the new and maintaned software may probably be faster, more compatible, etc.
Thats the main reason I can think of for the favour of jade in the howto.
But feel free to add support for openjade on win32 if you would like to..;-)
Well, I am just in slowly moving to Linux, so I probably won't add too much to the windows part anymore. I'll try to make the new CHMs available for automatic generation, so they can replace the old CHMs, and I'll probably hand that part over to the docteam (or someone who is willing to further develop it).
