EditPlus, a text editor for Windows, lets you easily choose both the line endings for the current file and the line endings that should be in files by default. It's not free either ($30, and well-worth it IMHO), but there is a free 30-day trial available at http://www.editplus.com/.Most of the editors support this, including HomeSite, PHPEdit [free], etc. Goba
