Hi all, I have submitted a patch for a new entry to the manual for consideration of the mailing list that covers Nginx 1.4.x on Unix systems via the PHP Docbook Online Editor, the direct link to this patch is: https://edit.php.net/index.php?patchID=1098&project=PHP Please could I request comments, suggestions and/or technical review on this entry, if all is OK could I subsequently request that this is pushed into the repository. Tested on a Debian based machine. Many thanks, Jacob Clark. iamjacobclark@gmail.com On Tue, Jan 7, 2014 at 9:27 AM, Chris Wright <daverandom@php.net> wrote: > Hi Jacob > > On 7 January 2014 08:58, Jacob Clark <iamjacobclark@gmail.com> wrote: >> Hi, >> >> I would like to contribute to the Installation and Configuration >> manual under the Installation on Unix systems sub-section an article >> on how to configure PHP to run o Nginx and PHP-FPM. >> >> I feel as Nginx is growing in popularity, it would serve the PHP >> community well to have an agreed process of how PHP and Nginx should >> be configured, as there are a lot of tutorials on the internet which >> differ. >> > > I agree. > >> If there are no obligations to this addition, could I request SVN >> commit access in order to begin building this documentation and submit >> it for approval within the community? >> > > The easiest way to do this is with the online editor > (http://edit.php.net/).
