Thanks for reading me again! Thanks for guys who have confirmed me that I don't need to recompile my Apache+everything... While I'm happy and ready to go on with my job... a serious problem occurs... PROBLEM: =========error============= Database error: Invalid SQL: insert into active_sessions ( sid, name, val, changed ) values ('06af2aa25b4b7aef22e20fe0b8844461', 'sessid', 'c2Vzc2lkOiR..long long crypted characters..jt9Jzsg', '20000808000004') MySQL Error: 1062 (Duplicate entry 'sessid-06af2aa25b4b7aef22e20fe0b8 844461' for key 1) Session halted. =========================== The above error message appears at the bottom of some pages after I have upgraded MySQL from mysql-3.22.32 to mysql-3.23.22-beta. It *never* happened before the MySQL upgrade. *sigh* The message disappeared after I reloaded those pages. Every page in my web site is PHPLIBed. WHAT I'VE TRIED: - compiled and installed new MySQL - restarted mysql server - restarted apache server - tested new features of MySQL with a PHP script. worked fine. - emptied all data in the table "active_sessions" - close and open my browser (Netscape) WHAT I'VE NOT TRIED: - recompiled Apache+PHP+...etc From the PHP4+MySQL+Apache point of view, what are the possible causes for the problem?? I'm about to reboot my server soon and see if it helps... Help, Koo MySQL+(PHP4+MODSSL+OPENSSL+APACHE...) All latest versions.
