I was wrong. You can do that. I wouldn't, but you can. Amazing what I
find when I RTFM.

The manual suggests that it pulls the contents of the file as given to
it by the remote server. So, the only way you could get the code of the
webpage you are including in the source of your webpage is if the remote
server is not parsing its own data correctly. However, you're not clear
on what code in what source is getting shown.
