I realise that its not possible to see what prompts, or what the user types
in text box's etc but this isnt really neccessary. I think the META refresh
thing is probably the best solution.. and i suppose i could just write the
whole output to a single file and insert the refresh tag there.
I really want this handle by the web server (realising the limitation) so
that any device that has a browser can be used... its really for very
controlled situations like demo's so as long as it works is all that
matters.
Thanks for the thoughts,

So, you want the passive users (audience) to be able to see what the active
user
is typing *as* he is typing it? Since webpages are sent via the HTTP
protocol
and it's not interactive, that really won't work. If you can live with the
active user periodically submitting data to the website then this can easily
be
done. This seems kind of clunky though. You might be better off looking at
more
technology. All you really need is a PC with a wireless mouse and keyboard
for
the active user and a big monitor or projection system hooked up to it. I
don't
know enough details about what you're attempting so that might not work, but
this seems more like a hardware issue than something that needs to be
programmed.
