Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right list to post, sorry if it isn't. I'm am installing Apache and PHP4 on Redhat Linux 6.2. I have successfully installed php-4.0.1pl2 on my machine. But when I configure Apache 1.3.12, I get the following results: ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.so \ --sysconfdir=/etc/httpd/conf \ --datadir=/home/httpd \ --bindir=/usr/bin \ --sbindir=/usr/sbin \ --libexecdir=/usr/lib/apache \ --includedir=/usr/include/apache \ --logfiledir=/var/log/httpd \ --localstatedir=/var \ --runtimedir=/var/run \ --proxycachedir=/var/cache/httpd \ --mandir=/usr/man \ --enable-module=so \ --enable-module=rewrite \ --enable-shared=max \ --enable-track-vars \ --with-perl=/usr/bin/perl \ --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf \ --with-layout=RedHat make Configuring for Apache, Version 1.3.12 + using installation path layout: Apache (config.layout) + activated php4 module (modules/php4/libphp4.so) configure:Error: invalid option ' ' What does this mean? Is "--activate-module" an option that apache does not recognize? Or, Apache doesn't know where to find src/modules/php/libphp4.so? The relevant php lines in httpd.conf: LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so AddModule mod_php4.c AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .phtml AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps "libphp4.so" file is in /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so TIA Adelaide
