I see what you mean. I think Pepper is more of a programming text editor. You won't get all the HTML help you would like from something like this. I am more interested in code syntax help. BBEdit is good at helping with the HTML but IMHO sucks at PHP help or highlighting. Although the "markers" feature is nice for picking out functions from a large PHP file. I still would like to have Homesite on PHP in any case, but Pepper seems pretty nice. For me it's jEdit or Pepper now, where jEdit is definately a better cross platform option.
