Hm, sorry, i don't quite get this. The problem is not with some files, but with the whole dirs. I want to keep my users in 3 directories, but within these, they can use whichever file they want to (and also create new ones), so i think this wouldn't work. I tried to use the "global" and the "local" open_basedir, but the open_basedir in the VirtualHost entries always override the global ones, so i cannot add them together as wanted. ...or i am doing s.th. wrong there. Thanks for the reply. Regards, Hendrik Michael Hazelden wrote:
What about using the auto-prepend setting some how? ... you could work out where the PHP script is ... back track to the user's home dir ... then include that and the other files in the auto-prepended file. Currently i have to add php_admin_value open_basedir /home/username/:/tmp/:/webmail/ to every VH in the httpd.conf file. Is there an easier way? Can't i say s.th. like "use open_basedir /tmp/ & /webmail/ globally + whatever is set in the VH"? It would make my life way easier! Thanks, Hendrik
