You could use a custom Session Save Handler and store the session data
into an RDBMS.
"Web Application Development with PHP 4.0" by Tobias Ratschiller and Till
Gerken covers this issue and has a ready-to-go Session Handler for MySQL on
its CD.
Daniel Beulshausen, a friend of mine who's also on this list, is working
on a database-abstracted Session Save Handler for PHP 4 which works together
with PHPLIB's database abstraction layer.
