http://www.vim.org/ (you probably already have it installed on
your
system.)
try:

the PHP interpreter will tell you on which line numbers and files you
are having problems. PHP is also very loosly typed, and therefor it
is nearly impossible to have an un-debugable program.
I'm not saying you are, but if you are having that much difficulty
with PHP, I would step back and try and learn it a little better.
