Apache 2+ comes with RH8, checkout the conf.d folder for the php.ini file.
if you added something to the httpd.conf file, then you will have two
instances of of the php4_module.

apache gets to it and it's causing problem. for some reason version 4.2.2
keeps starting and i cant find a trace of 4.2.2 anywhere. every
installation/binary i can find seems to be of version 4.3.1 (which is what i
want) theres no reference to the older version in httpd.conf anywhere. when
httpd tris to start it i get an error saying that the php4_module is already
started. tomcat wouldnt be starting anything would it?
