Hi All, I have the following situation. We have Apache running with the php module. We present to the user of our system a page with a number of links. A link will connect to our database, select a number of records and present this to the user. Some select may take quite a while before they are finished. Sometimes the user in inpatient and presses the link again which means anther connection to our database is setup while the other is still running ( it means the odbc_fetch is still executing ). Is there a wat to get a handle to the client so I can check it is still alive. Or to abort the script (and related resources ) when the link is requested again ? Or are there other possibilities I am missing ? TIA Marco Laponder mlr at interchain dot nl
