Hmmmm.
You could use a "only-click-once" script like this:
<?
session_start();
if(isset($_SESSION["clicked"][$url])) {
echo "You already clicked that one!!!";
}
else {
$_SESSION["clicked"][$url] = true;
Header("Location: $url");
}
?>
link to the odbc-resultpage through this script, and do not forget to clear the session variable on finish.

I did that ( of course ). So I am not smart enough or I am overlooking some things. I cannot use the connection_status as the script is still in the uodbc_fetch call (which might take about 30 seconds ), so the first chance I get is after odbc_fetch call, but I would like to stop the odbc_fetch call when the user reclicked the link or clicked the stop button.
