I don't believe it matters where your headers are printed within your
script. As long as you don't print a content-type header before your
location header then you should be fine placing the header anywhere in your
script. However, I've never used the POST method with a location header.
I've always used the GET method. I'm not sure how to call another script
with the POST method using a location header.
Hope this helps a little.

Subject: [PHP] POST without a button
I have an HTML/Javascript file which has a form in it whose action is to
call my PHP4 file. After PHP4 stuffs some of the data into a database, it
needs to POST to a remote html file.
The PHP4 file is invisible, generates no HTML except in the case of an
error. How do I invisibly do another post without putting up a submit
button?
I thought of using header("location:"), but I understand from the manual
that headers should go at the very top of the file, and I want the entire
file to execute, then jump to the new address.
