I'm thinking maybe going with ASP or something, 'cause this path problem is
just driving me insane. Everytime I think I have it - somthing else screws
up. Why the hell can I not include a file that is in the same directory as
the file that's calling it.
Warning: Unknown(d:\websites\project\poll\example.php): failed to create
stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
This is example.php which resides in d:\websites\project\poll. It's the
entire file - 10 lines.....
<?php
include ("dbconnect.php"); **** this also resides in
d:\websites\project\poll, so why am I getting the above error? They are both
in the same directory, the spelling is coreect etc, etc. .*****
if ($logged == "True") {
echo 'Logged in as '.$_SESSION['email'].', <a
href="logout.php">logout</a>';
} else {
header('Location: login.php'); ****** This is also in the same directory
******
}
?>
Sorry to keep harping on this, but I just don't get it - I have followed
everyones instructions from this list, as well as trying 1000 other
variations and still get the same errors every time. This can't be this damn
hard.
TIA
