Actually I wouldn't be stucked with JavaScript,
it is safer to do with PHP...
still try to implement this condition:
if(time() == time()+$time_limit)
$Disconnect =1;

It works with a small piece of JS, which had to be inserted bevor the php:

setTimeout("DoTimeOut()", 1000); // 1000 ms

}
</SCRIPT>
