Hi,
Don't work because PHP engine try to include a file named:
file.phtml?var=value
...that not exists (file name is file.phtml)
You can initialize vars before include file.phtml.
$var1="hola";
include "file.phtml";
_____ file.phtml_____
echo $var1;
