how to refresh

Hi, I am writing a script that lets an administrator mark messages to be shown or not shown on our Intrane news page. The script retrieves all posts from a MS Sql database that have a certain bit set and creates a list box from where the admin can select one, check it and then mark it. Marking sets the bit to a different value. Now I would like to refresh the list box so the just markes message does not show up anymore. Just refetching the data from the data server does not seem to work. Any idea on what I could do? Thanks Michael Zielinski
