Re: php/mysql dedicated hosting

Go with www.csoft.net. They support PHP and MySQL. You get unlimited MySQL databases. Here's what you get for $15/month: http://yourdomain URL 300MB storage space Unlimited name@yourdomain aliases Unlimited POP mailboxes Unlimited (sub)domains (wildcard) Console DNS administration Unique IP address and reverse DNS Well-maintained GNU/Linux and OpenBSD servers Apache w/ PHP, fastcgi and mod_perl support Unrestricted shell access (use OpenSSH =) Mode 700 CGI support Unlimited MySQL databases Mail service (POP and SMTP servers). Shell mail clients (eg. Mutt, Elm, Pine) Mailing list support https service (Apache-SSL) Pretty damn good if ya ask me. Regards, Tyler Longren ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert J. I'm currently with Hostpro and unless you get your own managed server you're stuck with what they've got (php4 beta2 with nothing extra compiled) and their service is pretty crappy, to say the least. Even after I tried to upgrade to my own dedicated server it's still an ordeal trying to get what I want/need on it. Thanks. robert
