It's not just IIS. We've got a RH box with PHP3 and Apache talking to Oracle 8i and I get the same crap occasionally. Usually I get what looks like a misplaced or broken tags, i.e. "TD>" or "?>" I thought it might have something to do with LeechFTP?? Drag and drop once, maybe twice...junk at the end. Drag and drop a few more times...works fine. I don't see this problem very often, but the days I do it's quite frequent. I always have both NN4.7 & IE5 open to check pages and I'm pretty sure it happens in both, but I'm not positive. Next time it happens I'll try to remember to check to be certain. med vänlig hälsning /Dana -----Original Message----- From: phil@dialsolutions.co.uk [SMTP:phil@dialsolutions.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2000 10:23 AM To: SD3982@momail.sbc.com; php-general@lists.php.net Subject: Re: [PHP] Garbage Characters Added To PHP Pages In IIS? >When I load a page the first time it is fine. Could it be getting tacked on the header >somehow? I'm can think of an explanation for it so far? I sometimes get this, but I'm pretty sure its a browser thing. It hasn't happened to me for some months, but I remember checking the same page with IE and with Mozilla. The rogue character only appeared in IE, but as you say, was nowhere to be found in the stuff sent to IE by php.
