Sorry for the OT question. Please keep any responses off the
list...thanks...
We currently have a VPS server with Verio that is supposedly capable of
having 60 domains hosted on it - however, we're looking to move to a
dedicated server. Verio has some dedicated server options for Sun
Systems or for a Linux system, that we're looking at. I was wondering if
anyone had experience switching from a Unix system (we're currently on a
FreeBSD box) to a Linux system. Any performance differences I should be
aware of? Potential problems? General feelings on the issue? Would you
prefer Unix or Linux for web hosting? Thanks,
Joe
