security question/help

I want to be extra paranoid about security on my site so I'm storing the
REMOTE_ADDR in my login table along with the user's SESSION_ID. Both need to
make in order for them to have access to some of the restricted parts of my
site.
Can anyone think of any problems I might run into using the http variable
REMOTE_ADDR?
