Okay, I feel like I'm talking with myself but I'll go ahead and post this
anyway.
I got curl-ssl 7.3 to install with PHP support (kinda, see other post
"Extensions not supported?"
The phpinfo of my installation shows it's working I got it to work by
updating to openssl 0.9.6. I couldn't do it without doing that.
