PHP4 - ISAPI or CGI?

I'm getting ready to install PHP4 on a Windows NT box, which will be my
first time ever installing PHP. The readme.txt file mentions that there may
be some stability issues with the ISAPI module, although it will be faster
than the CGI executable and have some new functionality.
So I'm fishing for advice from the experienced folks on the list. Is the
ISAPI module stable enough to run on a production web server, or should I
just stick to the CGI? Any hints, assertions, anecdotes, warnings, praises,
or flames are welcome.
