Thanks, Ed. I have both set up on a test server now, so I can test ISAPI vs. CGI by just changing the extension. I think I'll take your advice on not putting the ISAPI on a production server for now. Seems prudent, and is definitely the consensus of all the replies I've gotten. The ISAPI is buggy and temperamental on a windows server. I use .phtml for the ISAPI module and .php for the CGI version (I just put the whole lot in my WINNT directory and registered the extension w/ the server). I often change working code to .phtml just to see what happens and it isn't uncommon to have it fail using the ISAPI module (make sure to save everything first. I've had it lock my machine once, Windows 2000 no less which is nearly bombproof.). On a production server - never, on a strictly in house network it might be worth a try just to see what breaks it.
