In my oppinon, PHP is as robust as C++ and Perl. Its fast, it CAN be secure, and it is a highly dynamic language. If you plan right, and make everything as secure as possiable, then yes, it can be done and done well.... HOWEVER, do it wrong, and you will be in code hell. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben Heuer" <ben_heuer@artlover.com> To: <php-general@lists.php.net> Sent: Monday, October 16, 2000 2:13 AM Subject: [PHP] Is PHP serious enough for Online Trading app? > Hi, > > I love PHP and am nearly a PHP-evangelist and all, but a question was posted > to me at work this evening: "Sure, PHP rocks, but is it serious enough to > develop an online trading platform with?" > > My off-the-bat answer was a resounding yes, and that its HOW you develop > your architecture, not WHAT language you use that matters.
