One thing to remember is to make sure that apache is configured with
--enable-shared options I am lazy so I have used --enable-shared=max by default
apache will enable the mod_so to allow DSO. I am very new to this my self I have
only ever used apache with statically linked modules, but I think it is time to
start using apxs as this should make upgrading a lot less painless. Please
correct me anyone if I am wrong.
