Hey- Search this mailing list for words such as : 'homesite' 'text editor features' 'php editor features' 'editplus' 'VI!!!!!!' title of message 'PHP Editor' And perhaps append 'windows' to any of them and you'll find some threads where people say : "Well, I like THIS because it has THIS" or "Well, I don't like THIS because it does not allow for THIS or THIS" or "I can do THIS" This is very common thought so you will find a plethra of ideas / desires and rants. Then list out and present to group. Also, perhaps we can comment on our gripes of current systems and what we'd rather have. Like, what are faults of homesite? would be a good start ;-) The key though is useful search and replace features, this is common gripe of unix/windows users - no regex. (s/foo/bar/g). VI!!!!!!! So, add good searches and many undo's and users should be happy along with all the other standard features. Oh, useful header and docs control too. Regards, Philip -- be outside the box.
