Tips to salvage your developer instincts amidst a pack of "design" wimps:
Show them Homesite. Then show them a small icon for Ultradev that sits on
the Homesite interface -- you can click this icon anytime and go into
Ultradev, which thankfully is great to tweak HTML and general look & feel.
In terms of the coding, stick with Homesite. In terms of HTML, and making
sure that the tables are correctly aligned, the line (<HR>) is of the right
thickness and the fonts are all as desired -- use Ultradev.
Both you AND the design wimps will be happy.
Hope this helps,
<Shanx/>
PS: This Ultradev icon materializes when you click on OPTIONS -->
SETTINGS --> DREAMWEAVER INTEGRATION or something like that..

| Hello,
|
| Im pretty comfortable programming with a straight-up text
| editor, but Im
| frankly
| having this difficulty with officemates who SWEAR by UltraDev and ASP.
| I want to do a project in PHP, and they are just itching to do it with
| UltraDev.
| When could something like UltraDev be developed for PHP? Its
| not like they
| are arguing to use UltraDev because ASP is superior, its just
| that they are
| wimps
| and like the programming interface. :-)
