Aim, NT auth

Hello All, I have a couple things I wanted to throw out to you guys/girls to see if you've come across anything. 1) NT auth - I would like to authenticate users to a web site with existing user list from a nt domain controller from a unix/apache server, or a /etc/passwd file. Is this possible? Have any of you seen any existing code for this? If not would anyone like to help me work on it? 2) AIM and ICQ - I would like to be able to send messages from a web page to a buddy list on aol instant messenger or ICQ.. I can think of a couple ways of doing this, but they are all lame. Is this possible? Any code?
