PHP vs ASP

Hey all, This is not a problem, just a generalized question for all of you PHP programmers that are also familiar with ASP. I've been trying for quite awhile to get the higher ups to let me start doing some of our clients projects in PHP instead of ASP. They always shoot me down. What are some reasons, aside from me saying I like it better, that you think might win them over? Thanks, Toby
