it's FREE,
it's Open Source which has a much-much better support
it's more flexible,
it's cross-platform (an important note ... imagine if you will decide to
migrate from NTs to *nix)
it's PERFECT for mySQL database unlike ASP for msSQL ,
it has more programmers crazy for it and so new hires are cheaper for the
company. (also the ease to lern matters a lot)
and more...
Cheers,

Subject: [PHP] PHP vs ASP
Hey all,
This is not a problem, just a generalized question for all of you PHP
programmers that are also familiar with ASP. I've been trying for quite
awhile to get the higher ups to let me start doing some of our clients
projects in PHP instead of ASP. They always shoot me down. What are some
reasons, aside from me saying I like it better, that you think might win
them over?
Thanks,
Toby
