The source used to generate the sound is not generated until you click the "Speak Key". The nifty FF add-on TotalValidator is what I used to validate your html code. It's not XHTML 1.0 Strict valid .. :P You're page is HTML 4.01 valid, i think you should make it XHTML 1.0 Strict. Tijnema
