Netscape is laughable! It crashes all the time and is horrid with a lot of
mail. The Bat is cool-- but it doesn't handle IMAP well. The programmers
admit that. Perhaps in the next version. Eudora is way too cluttered for me
and the personalities are clunky. Many of my listmail boxes in Outlook
Express have 5-15,000, even up to 30,000 messages and they work just fine. I
tried Pegasus for a while, but it felt about three years out of date.

Please don't misquote me. I said that OE is "by far the best windows mailer
I have found." And I have tried a lot of them. I will attribute your own
misinterpretation to something other than nefarious motives :) OE works very
well for me with a lot of messages, with PGP integration, with a number of
different accounts both POP and IMAP. It is definitely the best mail program
I have found on Windows. Of course, your mileage may vary, but it is quite
different from Outlook. On Linux I prefer Emacs/Gnus!
