OH MY GOD. You just discovered threading, which is how things used to
work before Microsoft decided to break email on the internet with
Shitlook [Express]. This exists in every mail program in existence, and
predates Outlook by about 500 years.
Here's another tip for all other Outlook users. If you like this
feature and would like to enjoy email how it used to be before
Microsoft decided to break it, you could learn about replying in
context, something Outlook doesn't like you to do:
Go too Tools/Options, click on Mail Options and set 'on replying'
to 'prefix each line of text'. And also click on Mail Format and set
that to HTML.
And then reply below the part of the message you're replying to.
That way email will be easier to use for everyone.
PS. This is not a flame of Outlook users, but of Outlook - it's not
your fault Outlook Express is the worst program ever made (see
http://www.mail-archive.com/cooker@linux-mandrake.com/msg20734.html
for why).
