ok all......this isn't directly php related....but.....well theres a log of knowledge on this list....
i have a javascript rollover script that uses a image map for the sub menu.....look at http://usaexpress.net/test/blah.html if you don't understand what i mean. (view source)
my problem is as follows - in IE the rollovers work fine....as do the image maps. they link where their spoused to go..etc....however! in netscape the rollovers work......and the maps don't. i have tried for the life of me to figure it out...hopefully someone on the list can provide me some help.
i got the source code from www.stormix.com (just view source)
i think that the problem is here or somewhere in this code :-) -
---------------------------------------------------
function navAct(imageName) {
if (document.images) {
for (n in navImages) {
document[navImages[n]].src = eval(navImages[n] + '_off.src');} document[imageName].src = eval(imageName + '_on.src'); shuttle = imageName.replace(/nav_/, "s_"); document.submenu.src = eval(shuttle + '.src'); } for (n = 0; n < 6; n++) { temp = eval("rMp." + shuttle + (n + 1)); if (temp > 0) {
document.links[n].href = eval("cMp." + shuttle + temp); }
else {
document.links[n].href = ""; }} } function setSubsection() { if (document.images) {
if (shuttle != 's_h') {
document['submenu'].src = eval(shuttle + '.src');
}
}
}
---------------------------------------------------
can anyone lend a helping hand?
