file upload error

I'm doing this

}
$tmp_file .= '/' . basename($filename);
return (ereg_replace('/+', '/', $tmp_file) == $filename);
}
if (is_uploaded_file($userfile))
{
$path ="opt/guide/www.leegstrabosma.nl/HTML/images";
copy($userfile,$path);
}
Then this error occuors
Warning: Unable to create 'opt/guide/www.leegstrabosma.nl/HTML/images': No
such file or directory in
/opt/guide/www.leegstrabosma.nl/HTML/woninginvoer.php3 on line 60
Hope someone can help me.
