From what I have heard and seen myself this is TOTALLY UNTRUE there is no
easy way to unencode the code. The alogarithms are very complex and
difficult to decode back to PHP. You might conciveably get it back to Zend
Bytecode (I havnt seen the alogaritms that Zeev and Andi used) but I would
imagine that would be a task in itself and when you get it back to byte code
its still not much use.. youll have real fun reading through the bytecode
and figureing out whats happening? Every decompiled a C/C++ app? You know
you get it in ASM lang at best?? It will be like reading that but without
any real documentation.. I havnt seen any copies of the decompiled win32
source code going about cause someone decompiled it to ASM then translated
it back to C.. if you are clever enough to do that then there is no need for
you to do it as you could write a far superior application in the time.
As for the Jan release date I would imagine that is also accurate so I hope
you will all be getting your copy from Zend on the 23rd January..Sign up
your email here http://www.zend.com/store_update.php and be notified
of the
release and opening of the store when it happens.
