Check out my last line - become an ASP - that's the only way to keep your code
proprietary. However, not matter how cool your application is, there will be
ripoffs. Not only that your competitors will have looked and poked it to death,
thus creating their own version (even making it better than yours) in no time.
It's like my dad - he's an architect. Sure he doesn't have the plans to your
house, but give him the "nickel tour" and he'll draw one up almost exactly like
it.
I can't think of a good way to get around this other than proprietary doc
formats like Word has, which isn't the way the web works (unless you are Real)
