Firstly, remove PHP, goto www.php.net and download PHP4. Download the CGI
version. Set it up again according to the docs, editing the httpd.conf. PHP4
should set up php.ini in your windows/system automatically. verify it is
there and correct though. Now, everything should be good to go. Yes, maybe
you did this exactly, but when all else fails strip it down and start over,
and it will usually work, trust me.
However, could i recommend ditching that WiNblows box and getting linux or
freebsd..? =)
